Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area. This includes washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with basic cleaning and organization tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using the dishwashing machine or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sinks, floors, walls, and trash bins.
  • Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried, stored, and ready for use.
  • Assist kitchen staff in receiving and storing food supplies and deliveries.
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling properly and regularly.
  • Monitor dishwashing area supplies (soap, sanitizer, etc.) and report when replenishment is needed.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards as required by company policies and local health regulations.
  • Support kitchen operations during busy hours, including basic food prep or cleaning tasks when needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

  • At least a High School graduate.
  • Experience in a café or restaurant setting is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,070.00 per month
