Position Overview:

As a Senior Security Operations Analyst, you will support governance, compliance, and security-related initiatives within the IT department. Lead and mature security operations by defining playbooks, metrics, and continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities.

This is a night shift position with a schedule of 9am EST - 6pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:


• Define alerting, triage, and escalation playbooks.


• Partner with vendors to fine-tune SIEM detections and reduce false positives.


• Lead forensic analysis and RCA for critical security events.


• Define KPIs for incident handling and vulnerability remediation.


• Oversee security awareness initiatives and coordinate tabletop exercises.

Qualifications:


• 6+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat detection.


• Experience leading or tuning SIEM/SOAR tools.


• Strong understanding of network, cloud, and endpoint security.

Preferred:


• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, or similar tools.


• Experience with Arctic Wolf.


• Knowledge of incident response or forensics.
