The role is responsible in supporting Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) on its AML and FATCA initiatives including the reviewing, monitoring and filing of Covered Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and assisting the FCC in providing guidance and advisory to Life Operations and other Business Units on AML and FATCA related concerns including any data analytics program and system development/enhancement for effective and proactive Compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare and submit CTRs and STRs to the AMLC. Maintain the records of extraction and submission, report to the AMLO and alternate AMLO on the submissions and liaise with Operations, IT and other Business Units on the needed information.
  • Assist the FCC team in the implementation and monitoring of its automation initiatives covering areas of name screening, customer risk rating, KRI monitoring, and workflow automation including the need to conduct Quality Assurance to ensure the purpose of the AML automated systems are delivered as programmed.
  • Prepare reports in a timely manner, in relation to tasks and activities as described above.
  • Perform other responsibilities that may assigned by FCC Director and FCC Associate Manager from time to time, such as, but not limited to engagement activities in Compliance.
