Position Title: Android Developer

Client: Local client

Work Location: BGC Taguig

Shift Schedule: Day shift

Work Setup: Hybrid (2x a week onsite)

Functions:

·       Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a

·       range of devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.

·       Primary focus will be development of applications and their integration with

·       back-end services.

·       Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of

·       the infrastructure.

·       A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the

·       creation of quality products is essential.

·       Perform functional analysis, application design, development, unit test,

·       deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications:

·       Proficient in Java Kotlin

·       Experience with frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

·       Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

·       Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services

·       Knowledge of UI/UX standards

·       Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines

·       Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

·       Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

·       Knack for benchmarking and optimization

·       Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitLab

·       Familiarity with continuous integration

·       Experience with H5/HTML5.
