The Receiving & Inventory Lead is responsible for managing the receiving process for all client deliveries, ensuring accurate put-away of stock, performing regular inventory cycle counts, processing returns to suppliers (RTS), and handling product labeling and barcoding. This is a hands-on role, requiring close attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Put-Away

  • Oversee and carry out the receiving of all client deliveries.
  • Inspect incoming goods to verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
  • Record received goods accurately in the inventory system.
  • Safely transport and store items in designated locations.

Inventory Control

  • Perform and oversee regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
  • Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and properly labeled.

Processing Returns to Supplier (RTS)

  • Identify items for return to suppliers.
  • Prepare documentation and update inventory systems accordingly.
  • Video record the unboxing process for documentation and verification purposes.

Labeling & Barcoding

  • Print and attach labels/barcodes to products as needed.
  • Ensure labeling accuracy and compliance with company and client standards.
  • Maintain labeling tools, printers, and supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory control experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering, pivot tables).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client deliveries.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit for lifting and moving stock.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment operation (forklift, pallet jack) is an advantage.
