We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Accountant to join our team.

As an Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the cost of goods sold, inventory demand planning, and assisting clients with ad-hoc pricing/margin analysis. You will also support new client account onboarding and configure client accounting systems.

Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Manage the cost of goods sold, including calculating inventory values and tracking discrepancies.
  • Inventory Planning: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to meet client needs.
  • Client Support: Provide timely support and guidance to clients in regularly scheduled check-ins and day-to-day communication.
  • Operational Accounting: Manage retail operational accounting, including issuing invoices, reconciling discounts and chargebacks, collecting deposits, and matching accounts receivables.
  • Reconciliation: Track and manage reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities/expenses, and deferred revenue.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis for client leadership and coordinating work with external partners and investors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in inventory management.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and inventory accounting software.
