What are we looking for?
We're on the lookout for a skilled and driven Java Developer to join our growing team. If you're passionate about building high-quality, scalable applications that make a real-world impact, we'd love to hear from you. This role offers flexibility with work arrangements (onsite, remote, or hybrid) and the opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

What are you expected to do?

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance Java applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system enhancements.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to support business growth.
  Troubleshoot and debug application issues in development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve the development process.

You'll be a great fit if:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working with or designing microservices-based architectures.
• Experience working in travel industry is highly desirable

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• You have exposure to front-end technologies like React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• You have familiarity with Salesforce (Apex) and/or PHP is a strong plus.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
