About the Role

You'll serve as the organization's data authority — leading data platform strategy, governance, and quality programs while partnering across the business to drive one source of truth.

This role reports to the Head of IT and leads a team of data experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, testing, and optimization of data pipelines and warehouse environments
  • Build and enforce a comprehensive data governance framework
  • Drive data quality, security, and reporting performance
  • Own and scale MediCard's enterprise data platforms
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet business data and reporting needs
  • Champion a data-driven culture and data ownership across the organization
  • Manage roadmap execution, KPIs, and vendor delivery

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Math/Statistics, Info Management or related field
  • 10+ years
    in IT/Data, including
    5+ years leading data teams
  • Strong background in data analysis/management
  • Experience in data governance programs and business analytics / visualization tools
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery skills

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
  • Hands-on exposure to modern cloud-based data stacks
