3D Furniture Modeler

Role Overview:

We're hiring an experienced 3D Furniture Design Specialist to develop accurate models, detailed drawings, and fully production-ready documentation for custom builds. You'll bridge the gap between design intent and fabrication by creating precise deliverables used directly in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

– Build precise 3D furniture and cabinetry models

– Prepare complete technical drawings and production documentation

– Support both wood and metal fabrication projects

– Produce highly accurate, manufacturable designs

– Optimize technical designs for real-world production constraints

– Collaborate remotely and manage tasks independently

Mandatory Requirements:

– Demonstrated furniture design + production planning experience (portfolio required) – MUST

– Robust portfolio of furniture design and manufacturing-ready work – MUST

– Advanced skills in 3D modeling software: Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar – MUST

– Solid grasp of fabrication, carpentry, and production workflows

– Education in industrial design, product design, or engineering preferred

– Not a fit for architects without manufacturing knowledge

– Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

Preferred Skills:

– Rhino expertise (big plus)

– SolidWorks experience

– Hands-on understanding of carpentry or fabrication workflows

– Industrial design/product engineering background

– Experience preparing technical files for production
