Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our development team. This role will be responsible for building and optimising our web platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, a team player, and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customise, and maintain high-performing websites using HubSpot, ensuring seamless functionality and fast load times
  • Diagnose and resolve website issues related to performance, responsiveness, and user experience
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience across all devices and browsers
  • Optimise site performance, reduce load times and improve core web vitals
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tracking tools, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure website security, scalability, and compliance with best coding practices
  • Integrate HubSpot forms, workflows, and automation tools to support lead generation and marketing efforts

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working with HubSpot CMS, specialising in developing, customising, and maintaining HubSpot websites, including building custom modules, templates, and dynamic content that meets business needs
  • Minimum of 6 years of working expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HubL, with hands-on experience in customising HubSpot websites, developing bespoke web components and integrating third-party services to enhance the functionality of the HubSpot platform
  • Experience building and deploying custom modules within HubSpot CMS. This includes creating custom forms, custom blog layouts, and custom calls-to-action (CTAs) that support specific business objectives, improve user engagement, and streamline interactions
  • Proficiency in integrating HubSpot with external tools
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced SEO techniques, including schema markup, JSON-LD, structured data, and applying these strategies to improve site rankings, performance, and user engagement
  • Experience with site migrations, including transferring content, templates, and forms within HubSpot CMS, ensuring smooth transitions without disrupting business operations
  • Strong understanding of mobile optimisation and responsive web design, ensuring websites perform optimally across all devices and screen sizes
  • Experience working with website performance monitoring tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, using data to optimise site performance, identify SEO issues, and improve user experience
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles: Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design principles, with the ability to collaborate with design teams to enhance the overall user journey, improve site navigation, and ensure a seamless, intuitive experience across both desktop and mobile platforms
