QA Supervisor

Qualifications:

• With Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Food Technology/Chemical Engineering course.
• With at least 3-4 years experience in the same field and capacity.
• Able to be assigned within Clark Freeport Zone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Food Safety

1. Cascades and verifies implementation of Quality Plan

2. Cascades and implements regulatory and statutory requirement

3. Analyzes Trends of gathered data on GMP, IPM, HACCP and CAPA execution for further action

4. Verifies results of calibration activities with supplier (both internal and external)

5. Qualifies and determines Cleaning and Pest Control Chemicals used (new materials/chemicals)

6. Investigates product complaints concerning food safety and product recall

7. Conducts the following:

8. ProductTraceability and Mock Recall

9. On-site verification of Process Flow, Hazard Risk Assessment, HACCP Plan and HARPC

10. CAPA Audit

11. Prepares the following:

12. CAPA for the received product complaint and food safety issues encountered

13. CAPA Verification for Third Party Audit Report

14. Toll Audit Report

15. Assists in the GMP/HACCP External Audit

16. Verifies Aging Report prior submission to Department Head

17. Reviews Ageing Audit Report with Action Taken ( FG All WHSEs/ Excess SFG)

18. Accomplishes Quality Assurance Disposition Report for FG

Process Line

1. Cascades and verifies implementation of Quality Plan

2. Ensures Product Inspection on different production stages using proper techniques at designated inspection points

3. Prepares CAPA for the received product quality complaint and major quality issues encountered/ Quality Surveillance findings

4. Monitors condition of Equipment and Tools used in Quality Control

5. Accomplishes Pull Out Request of Defective Apparatus (for supplier's check up)

6. Conducts the following:

7. Product Traceability/ Mock Recall – 1 per year

8. Process audit per product and toll manufacturers

9. Reviews the following:

10. Manufacturing procedures and Work Instruction

11. Test Run Report

12. Verifies the following:

13. Quality Assurance Disposition Report for FG

14. Rework schedule for Hold Products

15. Prepares and submits Process Line Reports (based on Reports Hierarchy)

People Management

1. Sets and evaluates the performance targets of subordinates.

2. Addresses employee grievances and build positive working environment for the section.

3. Implements necessary developmental intervention for subordinates.

4. Performs role in hiring and promoting subordinates.
