QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or courses in electrical systems is a plus).
  • Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program, NCII Certificate (or equivalent training) is highly preferred.

Experience

  • Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems in a variety of settings (homes, buildings, factories, etc.).

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, circuit testers, and power meters.
  • Knowledge of various electrical components, including transformers, circuit breakers, panel boards, and wiring.
