**Job Title:** Manager, The Nest By The Sea

**Location:** Gubat, Sorsogon

**Reports To:** Lerma Balatbat(GM) and Tamara Escudero Benitez (CEO)

**Job Summary:**

The Nest By The Sea, a leading provider of sustainable living short-term rentals, is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Manager to oversee daily operations of an enclosed property with structures that accommodate at least guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hospitality for our guests, as well as managing staff and property operations efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Operational Management:**

  2. Oversee all daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

  3. Develop and implement operational procedures and policies.

  4. Coordinate and manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance.

  5. Ensure compliance with all local, and national government regulations.

  6. **Property Management:**

  7. Ensure properties are well-maintained, clean, and guest-ready at all times.

  8. Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, including eco-friendly and sustainable products.

  9. Conduct regular maintenance checks to address any repairs or upgrades needed.

  10. Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.

  11. Ensure security measures are in place, including the proper functioning of CCTV systems.

  12. Maintain stable and fast internet connectivity for guests.

  13. Prepare and manage plans for power or water failures to ensure smooth operations.

  14. **Pet Care:**

  15. Ensure all pets are fed regularly and always have a supply of food.

  16. Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of pet food and other necessities.

  17. Oversee grooming, exercise, and wellness activities for all pets.

  18. **Guest Services:**

  19. Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests.

  20. Be responsive to urgent guest requests at any time of the day.

  21. Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.

  22. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, feedback, and preferences.

  23. **Staff Management:**

  24. Train and evaluate cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service.

  25. Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain high standards of care.

  26. **Marketing and Sales:**

  27. Coordinate with marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain guests.

  28. Participate in online platforms, including Airbnb, to maximize property visibility and bookings.

  29. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

  30. **Financial Management:**

  31. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

  32. Monitor and control expenses to meet budget targets.

  33. Prepare reports on property operations, finances, and guest feedback.

  34. **Sustainability Initiatives:**

  35. Promote and implement sustainable living practices across all properties.

  36. Educate guests on sustainable practices and encourage eco-friendly behavior.

  37. Collaborate with local communities and organizations to support sustainability efforts.

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of sustainable living practices and eco-friendly initiatives.
