To help the Tax Supervisor in ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements within Company's guidelines and procedures, government standards and specifications

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps in preparing tax returns (monthly, quarterly and annually) and responds to tax queries from internal and external parties and submitting the same to BIR/PEZA/SEC/LGU and other regulatory and/or government requirements
  • Helps in preparing tax reconciliations and other requirements during the BIR audit/assessment and ensuring that these are provided accurately and timely
  • Develops and maintains rapport and contact with external parties to ensure appropriate and timely resolutions of tax and other regulatory issues
  • Helps in performing reconciliation of BIR confirmation letters from customer/supplier

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors' degree in Accountancy; CPA an advantage
  • Background in General Accounting an advantage
  • Knowledge in tax laws and regulations an advantage
  • Background in handling tax audits an advantage
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP)
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and with attention to details
  • Interpersonal skills
