Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits across retail stores, head office, and warehouse operations.
  • Develop and implement annual audit plans, ensuring alignment with business risks and retail processes.
  • Review and assess internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements to strengthen governance.
  • Oversee store audit programs, including cash handling, inventory accuracy, discount controls, and loss prevention practices.
  • Analyze inventory variances, shrinkage, stock movements, and provide actionable insights to reduce losses.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management with clear corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and follow up on audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and merchandising teams to ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and industry regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the audit team, ensuring high-quality execution of audit activities.

Qualifications

  • Must have proven experience as an Audit Manager or Senior Auditor in a fashion retail company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, particularly inventory processes, shrinkage control, and store-level audits.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, internal controls review, and audit planning.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, variances, and operational reports.
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention, cash management controls, and retail compliance standards.
  • Proficient in audit tools, MS Excel, and reporting systems; experience with ERP or POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
