Job description:

I. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Mechanical Engineering Graduate or its equivalent;
  • With minimum of ten (10) years work related experience in Mold Maintenance and at least two (2) years of supervisory function in manufacturing set- up;
  • Willing to apply and assign in St. Rosa City, Laguna and can tart immediately.

II. JOB OBJECTIVE:

Under the direct supervision of the Parts Production Engineering (PPE) Sr. Manager, responsible for implementing of workflow processes and procedures in Mold Maintenance Section.

III. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supports the Mold Maintenance Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the section;

  2. Helps to develop and execute a preventive maintenance schedule for molds to minimize downtime and ensures all maintenance activities are documented and follow company protocols;

  3. Works closely with parts production department to coordinate maintenance schedules with production demands and provide feedback to management regarding mold design and maintenance processes for improvement;

  4. Assists in leading the team of Mold Maintenance Supervisors and Specialists to schedule work assignments and manage personnel to meet maintenance demands;

  5. Assists in regular inspections of molds to identify wear and potential issues and evaluate mold performance and recommends improvements or repairs;

  6. Helps to diagnose and troubleshoot mold related issues and participates in repairs and alterations to molds as necessary;

  7. Assists in budgeting for mold maintenance activities and controlling costs related to mold maintenance and repair;

  8. Ensures that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and

company policies and promotes a safe working environment for the mold maintenance team;

  1. Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, repair conducted and inventory usage and repair reports for management on mold performance, maintenance expenses and improvements;

  2. Assists in training new maintenance technician on procedures, safety protocols and equipment and encourages continuous learning and development among team;

  3. Identifies opportunities for process improvement in management operations and participate in initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs and enhancing product quality.
