Farm Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Farm Technician with expertise in documentation and record-keeping to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing farm operations and ensuring accurate documentation of farming activities, data collection, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Farm Operations Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of daily farming activities, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, pest control, and fertilization.
- Document crop growth, soil conditions, and weather patterns for analysis and reporting.
- Keep accurate logs of equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage farm supplies, such as seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, and equipment.
- Record purchase orders, inventory levels, and usage reports.
Compliance and Regulatory Documentation:
Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal agricultural regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for certifications, permits, and regulatory inspections.
- Support audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Communication & Coordination:
Liaise with farm staff, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and communication.
- Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for farm activities.
- Provide training to farm staff on proper documentation processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Senior High or College Graduate
- Additional qualifications in documentation, data management, or regulatory compliance are a plus.
Experience:
Experience in documentation or record-keeping in a farm or agricultural setting is highly desirable.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data entry and documentation tools (e.g., MS Excel, Google Sheets).
- Understanding of basic agricultural processes and terminology.
Other Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
