JOB SUMMARY

A Quality Control Staff is responsible for upholding the safety regulations of the company and making sure that the products meet a set of standards and quality expectations. He/she will examine shipments of inventory such as raw materials and measure the specifications of random items in each production run and training team members to refine production quality.This position shall team up with the Senior/ QA Staff in the strict implementation of cGMP, GWP, and the like, to ensure that all products conform to accepted quality standards and that Food Safety principles are upheld.

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct inspection of incoming raw materials through qualitative and quantitative tests, and ensure all raw materials are within approved specifications.
  • Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting qualitative and quantitative tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the Production Supervisor and/or Sr. QA Staff.
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  • Devise and document Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) for product returns that needed re-work.
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and monitoring logs
  • Conduct in-house calibration of equipment and ensure that equipment is operational and in good working condition.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Perform tasks pertaining to Quality Standards as assigned by direct superior from time to time.

MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or any allied course
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Food Manufacturing QC/QA work

· Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Gdocs, Gsheets, ERP

· Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies

· Strong understanding of basic Food Safety principles including GMP, SSOP, HACCP, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
