Role Purpose

Supervise QA inspectors and oversee quality and food safety compliance in all warehouse operations. Ensure products meet regulatory and customer standards. Conduct training, manage audits, handle quality concerns, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and maintain quality systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily

  • Supervise QIP Inspectors in inspecting incoming and outgoing products.
  • Ensure hygiene standards, equipment calibration, and proper handling of nonconforming products.
  • Monitor compliance with quality programs (e.g., GMP, HACCP, Sanitation).
  • Conduct truck inspections, oversee pest control routines, and maintain inspection records.

Weekly

  • Review operations and quality issues with QA Manager.
  • Monitor and report on the status of "On Hold" and "Rejected" products.

Monthly

  • Conduct and document internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.

Annual

  • Report on QA KPIs and lead food safety/quality training for staff and third parties.

Other

  • Safeguard QA documents and escalate quality issues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support business process improvements.
  • Maintain and align standard operating procedures with process owners.

Staff Management

  • Lead and manage QIP Inspectors.
  • Assign tasks, monitor schedules, evaluate performance, and conduct QA system training.

Authorities

  • Serve as acting QA Manager when needed.
  • Issue Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Coordinate with customers and regulatory bodies on quality matters.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in QA or a related role.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of food safety, Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and audit procedures.
  • Skilled in QA tools, documentation, and training delivery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php33, Php40,000.00 per month
