JOB SUMMARY

  • Create engaging digital assets for a variety of channels such as web page layouts (UI design), social media, video content, email campaigns, and presentations.
  • Develop impactful print materials including brochures, reports, advertisements, concept sheets, event collateral, and branded business assets.
  • Apply and safeguard brand guidelines in all creative output
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members and departments
  • Diligent interpretation of creative briefs and requests
  • Organize design files and digital creative output in online libraries
  • Continuous learning in latest and emerging creative trends and tools, especially creative AI applications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with solid experience in Figma, Canva, and similar design platforms.
  • Strong skills in video editing and web design
  • Deep understanding of design principles, composition, typography, and color theory
  • Creative flair coupled with a keen eye for layout, balance, and visual detail
  • Familiarity of Swiss Graphic Design or willingness to learn and adapt
  • High level of focus and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and work collaboratively as part of a team, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed
  • Must be flexible, agile, and adaptable
  • Must have a proactive attitude and ability to plan ahead

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Figma
  • Digital/social media, video editing, and web design experience
  • Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to
  • communicate complex concepts and data through clear

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Workdays run from roughly 1700 – 0200 to maximize the overlap with European and US Eastern Time work hours.
  • Most of the work is computer-based.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile, and prepare work documents, as well as set up and maintain work files.
  • Willingness to work more than 8 hours per day, as needed; ability to handle pressure during peak periods during the year, availability to handle issues outside of normal working hours
