Job Description – Graphic Designer

Department: Marketing & Public Relations

Reports To: Marketing & PR Consultant and Group General Manager

Location: Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill – Newport World Resorts, Philippines

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing creative, high-quality visual materials that reflect the brand identity and support marketing, promotions, and communication efforts across Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in the Philippines. The role involves designing for both digital and print platforms, developing engaging content for social media, and supporting campaigns with compelling visuals.

This position requires proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, familiarity with AI tools for design prompt generation, and basic video editing skills (e.g., GIFs and simple animations). The Graphic Designer works closely with the Marketing & PR Consultant and the Group General Manager to ensure consistency and creativity in all marketing outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials including posters, menus, flyers, banners, social media graphics, presentations, and in-store collaterals.
  • Develop digital content such as GIFs, simple video edits, and animations for social media campaigns.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for professional design tasks.
  • Apply AI prompt engineering to generate creative design concepts and speed up workflows.
  • Ensure all designs align with Gordon Ramsay brand identity and marketing standards.
  • Work with Marketing & PR Consultant on creative direction for campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, printers, and suppliers to ensure accurate production of collaterals.
  • Support internal communications with branded materials such as employee engagement posters, event invitations, and presentation decks.
  • Manage and organize a library of design templates, files, and digital assets.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, social media aesthetics, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Deliver outputs on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 1–2 years of professional experience in graphic design; hospitality or F&B experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects) for simple edits and GIF creation.
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, DALL·E, or Photoshop AI) and ability to craft effective prompts.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and brand alignment.
  • Excellent sense of layout, typography, and color.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Collaborative and communicative, with a strong eye for marketing aesthetics.
