About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouseman to join our dynamic team at Swift Logistics Corporation. This full-time role is based in our Alabang Muntinlupa City Metro Manila facility, where you will play a vital part in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

What you'll be doing

  1. Receive, check, and store incoming goods while maintaining accuracy of inventory records.

  2. Prepare items for dispatch, including picking, packing, checking for damages or shortages, loading goods, and recording delivery details.

  3. Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely to move, stack, or organize stock within the warehouse.

  4. Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality issues to the supervisor for immediate action.

  5. Investigate and help resolve discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.

  6. Conduct and assist in periodic stock counts, ensuring records are updated accurately and on time.

  7. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the warehouse to support efficient operations.

  8. Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure the safety of self, co-workers, and workplace.

  9. Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding work progress, delays, or operational concerns.

  10. Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar warehousing/distribution role
  2. Certification in forklift operation and a valid driver's license
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  4. Good communication and teamwork skills
  5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
  6. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks
