I. JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a highly motivated Electrician Helper. You will be responsible for assisting electricians with a variety of tasks, including wiring, repairing, and installing electrical systems, as well as providing general support. You must be able to follow instructions and have a basic understanding of electrical systems.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist electricians in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment
  • Carry tools and materials to worksites
  • Measure and cut wires and conduit
  • Perform basic electrical calculations
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment
  • Document work performed and communicate progress to team members
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols
  • Assisting electricians in installation, repairs and maintenance

III.JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an electrician apprentice program preferred
  • Must have basic knowledge of electrical work
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
