Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Makati City (onsite)

Position Summary:

The Electrical Engineer works with sales and engineering teams to develop safe, reliable, and compliant designs based on customer requirements. This role supports product improvements, new product launches, and strategic projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and business growth.

Overview of type of person to exceed in this role:

This role requires a technical leader that can leverage from a practical background to demonstrate a high skill set in Electrical Manufacturing functions. A person who can produce innovative, quality solutions and support operations to drive profitability and scalability.

Task:

• Design inverter and battery connection.

• Specify wiring for beacon, work light, and flasher.

• Prepare electrical wiring diagram.

• Define power distribution with fuse ratings.

• Specify switching for each light.

Key Accountabilities:

· Provide electrical technical expertise through documentation and practical experience.

· Create accurate Engineering Specifications for effective delivery into manufacturing.

· Support the HSEQ team with required documentation, standards, and technical specifications to ensure quality assurance.

· Accountable for creation and management of electrical process documentation including SOP's, ITP's, functional testing, etc.

· Conduct design reviews, build audits, and validation processes to confirm adherence to specifications and scheduled targets.

· Provide coordination and adherence to FOT projects from end-to-end to ensure safety within design, quality (RFT), and meeting customers' requirements (DIFOT).

· Be accountable throughout the holistic ECN process - providing solutions.

· Appreciate manufacturability whilst meeting customer requirements.

· Comply with company standards, government legislation, Australian standards, and the automotive industry.

· Enable new technologies and techniques to improve the reliability and productivity of the current operational process to enable optimal quality and lead times.

· Be well-versed with manufacturing processes and promote appropriate electrical industry standards throughout the business by keeping abreast of technological developments and balancing technical excellence with cost and performance in project specifications.

· Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and new compliance requirements to ensure the business remains competitive.

· Proactively seek ways of improving our sustainable competitive advantage in the market.

· Facilitate product testing & prototyping to ensure product reliability.

About You / Person Specification:

Qualifications:

· Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering preferred.

· Licensed or trade qualified with design experience minimum.

· With experience in using SolidWorks

· Experience in project coordination within a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment.

· Familiarity with compliance frameworks, regulatory standards, and engineering best practices.

Experience:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong understanding of engineering drawings, build specifications, and quality control processes.

· Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

· Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
