Position Title: Ready-to-Eat Food Production Worker and Baker Helper
Department: Production kitchen / Baker Helper
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager
Job Summary
The Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Food Production Worker is responsible for preparing, assembling, and packing ready-to-eat meals or food products in accordance with company standards. The role ensures that all items are produced safely, hygienically, and consistently to meet quality requirements and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, portion, and assemble ready-to-eat food items according to recipes and production guidelines.
Operate food processing and packaging equipment safely.
Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and storage of finished products.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines, HACCP standards, and company policies at all times.
Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
Assist in receiving and storing raw materials and ingredients.
Perform inventory checks and update records when necessary.
Support continuous improvement of production processes.
Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or vocational course in Food Technology, Culinary, or related field (preferred).
Experience in food production, central kitchen, or RTE manufacturing is an advantage.
Knowledge of food safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physically fit to handle standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays if required.
