Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant

2+ years of local accounting experience
Must have a strong knowledge or experience in bookkeeping, journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, VAT and financial statements analysis.
Graduate in Accounting or any related fields
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Proficient in using of QuickBooks and MS Excel
Responsibilities
• Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; and ensuring legal requirements compliance
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handles payroll in a timely manner
• Monitor financial transactions and reports, and reconcile company accounts
• Assist with tax payments and returns
• Work with SSS, Philhealth and Pagibig reports
• Help facilitate permits and other government requirement
• Reports to Accounting Manager
Requirements and Skills:
• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (QuickBooks)
