Position Title: Interior Designer

Department: Design / Creative
Reports To: Senior Designer / Project Manager / Creative Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, goals, and budget.

• Develop mood boards, sketches, space plans, and 3D visualizations.

• Select materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes that align with the concept and client preferences.

• Create detailed design proposals, floor plans, and technical drawings.

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and implementation phases.

• Ensure all designs comply with safety, accessibility, and building regulations.

• Source and procure furniture, décor, and materials.

• Stay updated on design trends, technologies, and materials.

• Make site visits for supervision, quality checks, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.

• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and design trends.

• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.

• Creativity and a strong eye for detail, color, and spatial arrangements.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of sustainability and green design.

• Experience in specific sectors (e.g., residential, hospitality, office spaces).

• Hand sketching and rendering ability.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based, with frequent site visits.

• May involve weekend or evening hours depending on project demands.

• Some travel may be required.
