Job Description:

Summary

The main function of a data quality analyst is to compare company records with third party industry standard, account identification data, determine if the two records are a match, and update the record. This is done in the subset of records, where automated comparison algorithms were unable to make a definitive "match/no match" decision. This process may involve utilizing other tools to determine address match, up to and including contacting customers directly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reviews and compares database records with industry standard account identification information, to determine account/address match, to ensure record fidelity in Atlassian's Customer Master data.
  • Correct errors and make necessary modifications.
  • May reach out directly to customer contacts if our process is unable to make a determination on address correctness with available information.
  • Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time. Basic knowledge of how to work in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace(G Suite), particularly spreadsheets. Knowledge of database management software would be a bonus.
  • Able to cross-check multiple addresses and make a decision based on a Standard Operating Procedure/Signal provided.
  • Able to contact customers (via email and/or phone) & get the address or confirmation of the address based on the script provided.
  • Minimal knowledge of working in Google Sheets and trainable in other internal tools.
  • Education/Experience
  • Associate's degree in computer programming, accounting, information systems, statistics, finance, or equivalent training required.
  • 0-2 years experience required.
