Job Title: Warehouse Stockman – Engineering Warehouse

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Stockman is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and materials. The role ensures proper documentation, safekeeping, and accurate stock levels to support the operational and engineering requirements of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inspection

Receive deliveries of engineering tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Verify quantity and quality against delivery receipts, invoices, or purchase orders.

Report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.

Storage & Inventory Management

Properly label, store, and organize items in designated warehouse areas.

Ensure all stocks are maintained in good condition and within safety standards.

Conduct regular stock counts and support month-end/annual inventory.

Monitor minimum and buffer stock levels to avoid shortages.

Issuance & Distribution

Prepare and issue tools, equipment, and materials requested by engineering and operations teams.

Ensure proper documentation (issuance slips, withdrawal forms, transfer records).

Assist in deployment and pull-out of equipment for projects, renovations, or repairs.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate and updated stock records in the warehouse system.

Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on stock movements and inventory status.

Assist in preparing reports for audit and management review.

Housekeeping & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.

Follow proper storage and handling procedures, especially for sensitive or heavy equipment.

Comply with company safety protocols and warehouse guidelines.

Qualifications: Warehouse Stockman

Education:

At least High School Graduate or Vocational Course Graduate in any related field.

Experience:

With at least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, and dispatching of goods.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledgeable in warehouse systems and inventory procedures.

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, or inventory software).

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Physically fit and capable of handling moderate to heavy lifting.

Work Attributes:

Trustworthy, responsible, and highly dependable.

Can work efficiently under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Willing to work flexible hours, shifting schedules, and extended workdays if required.
