The Assistant Merchandise Manager develops and implements merchandising strategies to maximize the sales of the assigned brand. Working alongside Brand Associates, he/she is also responsible for maintaining the reputation of the assigned brand through execution of brand directions and standards.

Job Role

  • Inventory Management of Local and Foreign Apparel / Fashion items and ensure optimal stock levels
  • Conduct local and international buying, negotiate with suppliers on pricings, and manage product costings
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team in monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor's activities
  • Monitor sales performance and improve current strategies
  • Align the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of BSBA Marketing Management, Merchandising, and its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the field of RETAIL / FASHION INDUSTRY (Clothing, Accessories, Shoes, Bags, etc.)
  • Has prior experience in Inventory Management and Merchandising using MS Excel
  • Has the ability to develop merchandising strategies and communicate recommendations
  • Has strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Outstanding communication skills
