Job Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing IT personnel and daily operations within the unit. Their duties include different tasks related to overseeing a companys computer networks and improving the companys network systems, relaying information between upper management and department employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
  • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the groups/ unit and working closely with other group/ unit Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the companys network
  • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.
  • Provides support, direction and internal policies to provides technical supports
  • Performs other related functions as directed by the Immediate Superior
  • Escalating, managing and reporting control issues of group with transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of bachelors degree in information technology or computer science
  • With relevant Professional Certification, is an advantage.
  • With at least 5 years of work experience in managing a team in Financing or Banking
  • Industry.
  • Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (SQL, Linux) current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions. Strong creative and
  • analytical thinking.
  • Excellent in communication, leadership and organization skills.
