SEO Specialist

Job description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine optimization techniques and a passion for improving website visibility and user experience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and enhance our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases to target.

Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and images, to improve search engine rankings.

Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs, and provide actionable insights.

Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings.

Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with user intent.

Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance.

Build and manage backlinks to improve domain authority and search visibility.

Work closely with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in website design and development.

Assist in the development of SEO strategies for new website launches and redesigns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.

Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.

Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz).

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website management systems (e.g., WordPress).

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PPC campaigns and social media marketing.

Knowledge of local SEO strategies.

Certification in Google Analytics or Google Ads.
