PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution, monitoring, and maintenance of 8990 projects. The role involves overseeing daily project progress, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing technical and commercial proposals, supervising site activities, conducting preventive maintenance of installed systems, and providing timely reports and updates. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can effectively communicate with project teams, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor and track the daily progress of all assigned 8990 project sites.
  • Consolidate site updates and prepare weekly and monthly accomplishment reports.
  • Ensure reports reflect accurate, up-to-date information on project status, risks, and delays.
  • Coordinate with the site teams to validate reported accomplishments and challenges.
  • Progress Billing & Documentation
  • Prepare and submit progress billing documents in line with project milestones.
  • Coordinate with accounting and project stakeholders to ensure smooth billing processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation of project files, drawings, reports, and approvals.
  • Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings, site inspections, and coordinate concerns or requirements.
  • Ensure timely communication of project developments and issues to relevant parties.
  • Project BOM & Proposal Preparation
  • Prepare project-specific Bill of Materials (BOM), cost estimates, and technical proposals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for accurate material specifications and quotations.
  • Assist in preparing project bidding documents, proposals, and presentations as needed.
  • Site Supervision & Visits
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify work progress and quality.
  • Supervise daily accomplishments, manpower deployment, and material deliveries.
  • Identify and address technical concerns, safety issues, and other site challenges.
  • Preventive Maintenance & System Checks
  • Coordinate with assigned site personnel conducting preventive maintenance for installed CCTV and FDAS systems for all sites.
  • Assist in performing routine system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems are operational.
  • Generate preventive maintenance reports and service documentation for submission to management and clients.
  • Maintain proper records of system performance, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Support the project management team in achieving project goals and timelines.
  • Perform technical evaluations, site surveys, and project assessments as required.
  • Carry out other tasks and assignments relevant to project execution and company objectives.
