iOS Developer

Employment Type: Initial contract of 3 months with (possible absorption or extension of the contract.)

Preferably those who can start ASAP/Immediate

Work setup: Hybrid but onsite location is BGC, Taguig (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Work hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Work days: Mondays to Fridays

Responsibilities:

  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality and organization
  • Advocate Apple's design principles, interface guidelines, patterns, and best practices
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Stays in touch with project stakeholders via main preferred channels, ie. Telegram, email and mobile;
  • Demonstrates expertise and leadership in iOS development;
  • Deliver assigned task based on requirement specifications
  • Ensure quality of code
  • Participation in all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Scrum, Review, Retrospective)
  • Self-organizing and cross functional development
  • Creation and execution of unit tests

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in Swift and Apple's Xcode IDE
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of the iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Proficient understanding continuous integration and code versioning tools, such as GitLab
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA
  • Open to learn and develop front end development (using Javascript framework Vue JS) and Mulesoft ESB.
  • Experience with Xcode, Gitlab, Swift, Objective-C, Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager, Firebase
  • Can start asap
