Growing together. We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Citrix Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Citrix environments on AWS.

This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, Citrix technologies, and cloud architecture best practices. The AWS Citrix Architect will work closely with various departments to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of Citrix solutions in the cloud. Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement Citrix environments on AWS, including XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning Services, and Netscaler (VPX)Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps, maintenance schedules, life cycle management, and capacity management for Citrix/Citrix Cloud environments

Provide operational and technical support for the Citrix Server environment and associated applications

Manage the day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for the Citrix XenApp environment on a 24x7 basis

Ensure that a Service Catalog of all available services is developed and maintained, and that the structure of service level agreements is fully defined by mapping services to users and business processes

Collaborate with clients and other team members to architect, design, and implement Citrix Virtualization SolutionsProvide thought leadership and guidance for project teams and team members

Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to improve architectures with AWS solutions

Manage multiple AWS accounts for the organization and connect on-premises datacenters to AWS CloudDesign and implement scalable, reliable, and highly available applications on AWSEnsure the security of data on AWS with encryption and design protection for data-at-rest and data-in-flight

Optimize the use of AWS services to increase performance and reduce costs

Train new and experienced Citrix staff on best practices, new technologies, and operational procedures to ensure a high level of competency and performance

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Technical, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification

Extensive experience with Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning Services, and Netscaler (VPX)Experience with designing and implementing Active Directory environments

Experience with installing, configuring, and managing WEM agents, including knowledge of group policy configurations and Citrix Cloud Messaging ServicePatch management and vulnerability Management experience

Solid knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing concepts

Familiarity with general networking concepts and multi-tier architectures

Proven excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects

Proven solid communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS Direct Connect and AWS Storage GatewayKnowledge of cloud-based big data solutions and data warehousing on AWSFamiliarity with AWS Managed Services and event-driven scaling

Understanding of different architectural designs for scaling large websites and protecting infrastructure from DDoS attacks
