Cloud Solutions Architect Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect Manager to lead our team of solutions architects and/or presales to drive solutions for digital transformation and empower organizations through scalable, secure, optimized and efficient cloud services.

I.      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of senior solutions architects, providing expertise, technical guidance, support, and career development opportunities.

2.     Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.

3.     Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.

4.     Sales Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, identify and qualify opportunities, and respond to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring to develop tailored cloud solutions to meet customer needs and compliance to service levels, security standards and best practices.

5.     Services Scope Creation: Create scope for professional, support and managed services.

6.     Cost & Price Modeling: Create models for capex or opex.

7.     Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of different cloud platforms & industry trends, and design & architect complex solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.

8.     Solution Design: Oversee the design and development of complex cloud solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

9.     Artifacts Creation: oversee the creation, or improvement and presentation of technical documentation such as solution or technical presentation & proposals, design & architecture, bill of materials, RACI, SLA, deliverables, etc.

10.  Performance Management: Set clear goals and expectations for the team, monitor performance, and provide feedback to drive continuous professional improvement and learning & certification.

11.  Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the solutions architecture and technology group.

12.  Talent Acquisition and Development: Recruit and develop top talent, ensuring the team has the skills, knowledge, experience and certification needed to succeed.

II.  QUALIFICATIONS

A.    Minimum Education

1.     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2.     Post-graduate units or degree is a plus.

B.    Minimum Experience, Training and Certification

1.     Proven experience managing a team of solutions architects or technical professionals.

years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 2+ years in a supervisor or managerial role.

3.     Professional or Expert Architect Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud, etc).

4.     Proven experience in solutions architecting, presales.

5.     Proven experience in creating technical artifacts like bill of materials, cost & price modeling, scope of work, technical proposal, etc.

6.     Proven experience in defining scope for professional, support and managed services.

7.     Proven continuous professional development in cloud technologies and related solutions.
