Principal / Senior Controls Engineer (Future Country Lead – Philippines | Remote)About the Role

Ohmni is an Australian electrical and controls consultancy is expanding into the Philippines, and we're looking for an experienced Principal or Senior Controls/Electrical Engineer to join us.

This is a remote work opportunity to start as a contractor (flexible hours). You'll help us win and deliver pilot/retrofit projects, and if it's a good fit, you'll have the chance to step up and lead our PH practice as Country Lead.

What You'll Do

  • Use your client connections with EPCs, systems integrators, and end users to help open doors and secure projects.
  • Prepare and cost proposals/SOWs, then deliver projects with Australian-level QA standards.
  • Build and guide a small local team as projects grow.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership in Australia to grow the PH business.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in industrial electrical/controls (water, mining, O&G, manufacturing, utilities, etc.).
  • Established client relationships you can tap into.
  • Experience preparing and delivering SOWs/proposals.
  • Someone open to starting as a contractor, with the drive to grow into a Country Lead role.
  • Nice-to-have: PRC license or a licensed partner.
