Procurement Support

- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability.

- Prepare and process purchase requests and purchase orders.

- Compare quotations, negotiate prices, and recommend cost-efficient purchases.

- Maintain updated records of suppliers and price lists.

Coordination & Monitoring

- Track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules.

- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

- Address issues related to delayed, damaged, or incorrect deliveries.

Documentation & Compliance

- Ensure proper documentation of purchase transactions.

- Verify supplier invoices and assist in processing payments.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

- Assist in audit requirements related to purchasing.

Administrative & Reporting

- Maintain purchasing files, supplier records, and procurement reports.

- Provide support to the Purchasing Supervisor/Manager in preparing reports and analysis.

- Support initiatives to improve procurement processes and cost savings.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Experience in the agricultural trading industry is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing systems.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
