We are looking an experienced and dynamic International Manager to lead our international freight forwarding and customs clearance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant and cost-effective movement of goods across borders, while building strong relationships with international agents, carriers and regulatory authorities.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end international freight operations (air, sea, and cross-border).
  • Ensure timely and compliant customs clearance for all import and export shipments.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and customs authorities.
  • Lead negotiations on international freight rates and carrier contracts.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the international operations team.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for service delivery, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to deliver customized logistics solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and discrepancies.
  • Stay up-to-date with global logistics trends, customs regulations, and trade agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or related fields
  • Licensed Customs Broker (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in handling international freight forwarding
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role
  • In-depth understanding of BOC processes, PEZA/BOI regulations, and import/export documentation
  • Strong expertise in freight negotiation, carrier management and customs clearance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong ability in client and partner relationship management
