Job Description
We're seeking a talented content specialist to revolutionize product content across a massive and diverse e-commerce catalog. You'll be creating and optimizing content for thousands of product listings, working with everything from outdoor and camping gear to comprehensive household and lifestyle products. This role offers the perfect opportunity to combine creative content creation with SEO optimization, as you'll be working closely with SEO specialists to ensure all content supports improved search visibility and customer engagement. You'll have the autonomy to enhance existing content while creating new material for an ever-expanding product range.

Responsibilities
  • Create and optimize engaging content for product listings across diverse lifestyle and household categories
  • Enhance and improve existing product descriptions for thousands of SKUs to boost search visibility
  • Collaborate with SEO strategy and technical specialists to ensure content aligns with optimization goals
  • Develop content that supports improved search rankings and enhanced customer engagement
  • Handle ongoing content needs as the company continues expanding their product offerings
  • Support the company's evolution from traditional retail into a comprehensive lifestyle marketplace
  • Focus on SEO-optimized content that drives discoverable and conversion across multiple product categories
Requirements
  • Proven experience in e-commerce content creation and product description optimization
  • Strong understanding of SEO-focused content writing and search optimization principles
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify platform for content management and optimization
  • Ability to manage high-volume content projects and work with large product catalogs efficiently
  • Experience with the Australian market or Australian companies is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 20 hours per week availability with flexible scheduling
  • Experience working with diverse product categories and lifestyle/household goods preferred
