Position Overview

The Digital Content Specialist will support ICTSI's digital presence by creating, adapting, and distributing content across web and social media platforms. This role works closely with the press relations team to transform traditional media content into engaging digital formats and ensure company news reaches target audiences through various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Adaptation

  • Transform press releases and traditional media content into digital-friendly formats
  • Create engaging social media posts, web articles, and multimedia content
  • Develop graphics, infographics, and basic video content using design tools
  • Write compelling copy for various digital platforms while maintaining brand voice

Social Media Management

  • Execute daily social media posting across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and industry platforms
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner
  • Track social media trends and suggest content opportunities
  • Assist with social media campaign implementation

Website Content Support

  • Update website content including news sections, blog posts, and company updates
  • Optimize content for search engines using basic SEO principles

  • Ensure website content is current, accurate, and engaging

  • Coordinate with web development team for technical updates

Digital Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor social media engagement, website traffic, and content performance
  • Prepare monthly reports on digital content metrics and audience engagement
  • Track competitor digital activities and provide insights
  • Identify top-performing content and suggest optimization strategies

Administrative Support

  • Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules
  • Coordinate with press relations team for content planning
  • Manage digital asset library and ensure brand consistency
  • Support email newsletter creation and distribution
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital content creation or social media management
  • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Portfolio demonstrating content creation abilities across multiple formats

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)

  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar

  • Familiarity with content management systems (Drupal preferred.)

  • Understanding of social media analytics tools and Google Analytics

  • Basic video editing capabilities preferred

Reports to: Head of Digital

Collaborates closely with: Public Relations Team, Business Unit Teams across 19 countries

Work Environment
  • Office-based position with one day per week work from home
  • Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend work for time-sensitive content
  • Minimal travel required (occasional industry events or photo opportunities)
