The DC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Delivery Center, ensuring that all parcels are received, sorted, dispatched, and delivered in a timely and accurate manner. This role supervises the delivery team (Sprinters), ensures compliance with operational standards, monitors performance, and resolves delivery-related issues to achieve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management

Supervise day-to-day activities of the DC including parcel sorting, routing, and delivery.

Ensure accurate scanning, staging, and dispatching of parcels.

Monitor delivery timelines and success rates to maintain service levels.

  1. Team Supervision

Lead and manage delivery riders/drivers (Sprinters), assigning routes and monitoring performance.

Ensure all team members follow SOPs, company policies, and safety standards.

Conduct daily briefings and coaching sessions as needed.

  1. Inventory and Parcel Control

Ensure all parcels in the DC are properly accounted for and discrepancies are immediately reported and investigated.

Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, especially COD and sensitive items.

  1. Customer Service and Issue Resolution

Address and resolve delivery complaints or issues raised by clients, customers, or other departments.

Coordinate with Customer Service and QA teams regarding delivery-related concerns.

  1. Reporting and Documentation

Submit daily reports on parcel volume, delivery success rates, rider attendance, and incident logs.

Maintain records of damaged, returned, or undelivered parcels for further processing.

  1. Facility and Equipment Oversight

Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the Delivery Center at all times.

Monitor condition and availability of delivery tools and assets (scanners, mobile phones, etc.).


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in logistics, courier, or warehousing operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, reporting, and tracking tools.

Familiar with logistics operations, KPIs, and delivery route planning.

Willing to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
