Presales Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with sales to design customized ICT solutions (networking, cloud, cybersecurity)
• Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
• Assist in developing detailed technical proposals and documentation
• Gather client requirements and provide technical consultancy, and present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work with sales to create pitches and engage with vendors for clarifications
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deliverable solutions
• Stay updated on ICT trends and conduct competitive analysis to highlight differentiators
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend innovative ICT solutions
• Provide internal training for sales and junior engineers
• Conduct client workshops to facilitate technology adoption post-purchase.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting for Networking, Cloud and Cybersecurity
• Knowledge in Sales Cycle and experience in supporting sales from requirements gathering to proposal development
• Industry Experience or Background in telecommunications, finance, healthcare, or government is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, data centers, and telecoms
• Must be willing to work onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa, and willing to do fieldwork
• Hands-On Experience and proficiency in:

1) Networking: Routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs

2) Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP

3) Virtualization and Storage: VMware, Hyper-V

4) Cybersecurity: Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption technologies

• Industry-recognized certifications is a plus:

1) Networking: CCNA, CCNP, or similar

2) Cloud Technologies: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Certified

3) Security: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+

4) IT Service Management: ITIL Certification
