Molding Technician

Job Qualifications: Mold Technician

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mold Technician with strong expertise in plastic mold repair and mold fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tool maintenance, precision repairs, and mold troubleshooting in a plastic injection setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mold fabrication or plastic injection engineering company
• Extensive experience in plastic mold repairs, including: Flashes, Burrs, Scratches, Dents, Flow marks, Short shot, Sink marks, Burn marks, Warpage, Weld lines, Air traps/gas burns, Mismatched parting lines
• Strong ability to analyze mechanical drawings for mold layout, components, and tolerances
• Skilled in assembly and disassembly of molds for inspection, polishing, and repair
• Proficient in using tools and equipment such as: Surface grinders, Polishing tools
• Measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Knowledge of tool steel types, their treatment processes, and proper handling during repair work

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Operational knowledge of, is an advantage: Surface Grinding Machine, Lathe Machine, Milling Machine, EDM Machine (Electrical Discharge Machine)
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve mold-related production issues
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail
• Capable of working under pressure and maintaining high-quality repair standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calamba City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• grinding machine: 1 year (Preferred)
