Are you a passionate Senior Java Developer ready to take your skills to the next level? We're looking for an experienced Java/J2EE Developer to design, build, and optimize applications that drive performance, reliability, and client success.

Step into a role helping build critical systems for a security & asset protection group. You'll be part of a team responsible for core platforms that monitor, manage, and respond to network, property, and asset incidents across large portfolios. Working closely with IT leadership, you'll design and maintain backend and frontend features that process data in real time — ensuring alerts are delivered, dashboards are up-to-date, and response teams can make decisions quickly. Your work will support mission-critical operations that safeguard assets and maintain trust at a large organization renowned for its global footprint and stringent security standards.

What are you expected to do?

• Design and develop robust Java applications that deliver high performance and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, build, and roll out new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
• Continuously improve system speed, scalability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine existing applications to ensure top-quality user experiences.

You'll be a great fit if:

• You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8+) and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• You're skilled in building and maintaining scalable applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• You're familiar with Salesforce integrations, version control using Git, and CI/CD pipelines that streamline deployment.
• You take pride in your problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• You bring experience with microservices architecture and enjoy working on systems that drive operational excellence.
• You have a background in the travel industry and experience collaborating with international clients, particularly in Australia — giving you the edge to understand global operations and deliver solutions that enhance customer experience and business performance.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
