Key Responsibilities1. Test Program Development

  • Develop, debug, and maintain test programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) such as Advantest (V93K, T2000), Teradyne (UltraFlex, J750), or Keysight testers.
  • Create test flows, limits, and test conditions based on product specifications.
  • Implement functional, parametric, and reliability test routines.

2. Product Characterization & Validation

  • Perform device characterization using bench equipment or ATE.
  • Analyze parametric data, device behavior, corner conditions, and test margins.
  • Support engineering qualification (e.g., HTOL, HAST, temperature cycling).

3. Yield Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor production yield and identify test-related issues (probe card, load board, hardware failures, program bugs).
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Product/Design Engineers to resolve device failures.

4. Test Hardware Management

  • Specify, debug, and validate test hardware such as load boards, probe cards, interface boards, and sockets.
  • Coordinate hardware fabrication with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ensure hardware reliability during high-volume manufacturing.

5. Production Support

  • Provide real-time support to manufacturing, test operations, and technicians.
  • Reduce test cycle time, optimize test sequencing, and improve test throughput.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production.

6. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare documentation: test specifications, engineering reports, debug reports, test limits, and release notes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO/TS, automotive AEC-Q100 if applicable).
