Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day‑shift activities for quay wall construction: piling, sheet‑piles, anchor systems, rock armour, concrete works.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment (cranes, barges, winches, piling rigs), materials and marine logistics (tugs, barges, access vessels).
  • Review drawings, specifications and contracts to ensure site execution aligns with design and regulatory codes.
  • Monitor and record daily progress (metres of wall, piles driven), equipment usage; report to Project Manager.
  • Enforce safety/marine safety protocols; conduct toolbox talks, monitor hazard zones; manage site housekeeping and marine access.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience (8‑10 years) in marine or heavy civil construction (quay walls, marine structures) with supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of marine construction methods: piling, sheet piles, rock armour, marine logistics.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specs and contract documents; proven leadership, coordination and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in marine/coastal environment with heavy equipment and vessels; day shift availability.

Working Conditions
  • Primarily daytime operations with occasional extended hours when project demands require.
  • Marine site environment: exposure to water, tides, vessels, barges, heavy equipment, weather.
  • Use of PPE (helmet, safety boots, life‑vest, etc.) and adherence to marine safety & environmental regulations.
  • Collaboration with off‑site support (office, logistics, procurement) as required.
