Key responsibilities include staff management and training, implementing warehouse policies and procedures, managing budgets, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in a retail environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and lead warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee accurate tracking, storage, and management of home construction materials to maintain precise stock levels and minimize loss.
  • Operations Management: Implement efficient processes for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, ensuring optimal product flow and utilization of warehouse space.
  • Safety and Compliance: Establish, enforce, and monitor safety standards and procedures to create a healthy work environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Budgeting and Financials: Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, analyze expenditures, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams such as procurement, sales, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify trends, resolve operational challenges, and drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Equipment Management:Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and oversee the efficient use of specialized equipment and systems.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, while fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Strategic Planning: Capacity to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and business goals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), data analysis, and other relevant IT packages.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve warehouse issues, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping, inventory management, and operational tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication to liaise effectively with staff, management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Retail/Industry Experience: Previous experience in a retail or construction materials environment is often preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php55,000.00 per month
