Your impact

• To provide technical support particularly in electrical engineering with emphasis on electrical Infrastructure design for the Data Centers in Asia Region;
• To support the Technical Director in the business development and marketing of the Group capabilities;
• To manage project inputs and ensure the project budget and controls are in place.

Job Specifications & Scope of Responsibility

• You will have strong problem solving and communication skills, be able to think logically and write technical documents with clarity;
• Self motivated, able to work independently, with offshore design offices and exercise initiatives;
• You must be self-motivated, open to challenging and new experiences and able to work with minimum supervision;
• Proven capabilities in client liaison and multi disciplinary consulting;
• Commitment to the company values;
• Understanding of the design workscope in consulting environment , with emphasis on Data Centers and possess some commercial acumen;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Willingness to work with, and encourage a team approach, able to interact and work with colleagues and other consultants at various levels;
• Willingness to do some business travels in the Asia region as requested by the Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Technical Director, the candidate should be self-disciplined and able to work independently;
• Should have relevant experience to be able to perform engineering tasks on the mechanical services detailed design (including calculations, review of computer simulations, specifications etc.) for building Electrical infrastructure, particularly in Data Center projects and also special project like Healthcare
• Review and understand scope, BIM, specifications and drawings from client briefs;
• Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project;
• Familiar and understand relevant Local Building Codes and international standards to ensure compliance;
• To help prepare proposal and bids;
• To engage with engineers, drafting and design staff to fulfil deliverables;
• To lead and attend to project/site meeting with Client, PM and Consultants from other disciplines;
• To conduct site inspection as necessary, and respond to technical queries;
• Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems and tools to meet specific project requirements;
• Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines;
• To build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role
• Write technical reports and specifications, SOO including functional descriptions for Electrical systems;
• Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Flexible working from the Manila Office, home and site locations.

Here's what you'll need

• Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
• Pursuance of registration or registered as a Professional Engineer, minimum REE.
• Minimum 15 to 20-year relevant engineering experience.
• It is envisaged that at least 7 years relevant experience will be required, preferably in Data Centers
• Excellent in both written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience working with BIM and 3D models (Revit) is desired.
