ETG is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Python + FastAPI Engineer to join our expanding technology team. As we continue to innovate and enhance our solutions, we are looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about developing high-quality web applications and has deep expertise in Python and the FastAPI framework. You will work closely with product managers and stakeholders to identify application requirements and translate business objectives into technical specifications. Responsibilities
  • Create and optimize RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Lead the architectural design of scalable and robust back-end systems.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to define key objectives and contribute to project planning.
  • Implement security and data protection measures within applications.
  • Perform code reviews and manage deployment processes.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Expert level knowledge of FastAPI and its ecosystem.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • In-depth understanding of database management, such as PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud services and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring developers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a commitment to implementing best practices.
